PHYSICAL SAFETY AT SFU
An equity-centered design project
Understanding Perceptions of Physical Safety at SFU for Priority Groups
The purpose of this research project is to explore SFU students’ diverse experiences and opinions surrounding campus safety and the factors that enable or impede their ability to feel safe on campus using an equity-centered design lens. We hope to gain further insight into barriers to safety for our priority populations including women, people of colour, and mobile diverse students. Results from this project will be presented to SFU campus safety and help inform and guide future projects and programs.
